WaterMAP

What is a waterMAP?

A waterMAP is a voluntary water management action plan for non-residential customers using five megalitres of potable (drinking) water or more per year at any one site from an urban water supply.

What is the purpose of waterMAP?

A waterMAP allows non-residential water customers to:

  • assess their current water use;
  • identify inefficiencies and opportunities for water savings;
  • prepare an action plan to implement water conservation actions; and
  • annually report on implementation of water conservation actions.
