MANAGER TREATMENT ENGINEERING AND PLANNING

An outstanding career opportunity exists for an appropriately qualified and experienced professional to join our Treatment Services Branch.
This position is required to strategically plan the improvement requirements of treatment in water and wastewater across the Wannon Water region and to provide technical support and direction to ensure Treatment Plant compliance and efficient operation.
Key responsibilities include analysis and review of performance of treatment assets throughout the Corporation, implementing strategies to optimise asset performance, investigate, design and project manage minor operational capital improvements and the operational management of three full time employees in the Strategic Treatment team including all aspects of performance management.
Applicants will need to demonstrate and possess the following attributes:
• Practical knowledge and understanding of treatment plant operations and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills
• Can work effectively in a team environment
• Well developed skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil or equivalent) is required together with experience working in the Water Industry or related fields.
This position has a salary range of $75,609.33 to $86,140.35 (Band 8) p.a plus superannuation depending on qualifications and experience.
