Customer Relations Officer 

We currently have three exciting positions available for capable, experienced and enthusiastic individuals:

Customer Relations Officer – re-advertised (12 month maternity leave replacement ceasing on Friday 18 February 2022 based in Warrnambool)

Customer Relations Officer (part-time 38 hours per fortnight based in Hamilton)

- Customer Relations Officer (part-time 38 hours per fortnight based in Portland)

In these roles you will provide efficient and effective customer service in conjunction with the rest of the Customer Relations team as part of the front counter operations and customer contact centre.

The role:

The successful applicant will undertake front counter reception duties, telephone enquiries and will have well developed interpersonal and customer service skills, together with excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Handle incoming customer phone calls
  • Ensure effective and timely handling and notification of customer enquiries and complaints received through the use of the Customer Enquiries Management System
  • Assist with Customer Relations tasks including receipting, billing, change of ownership and general processing.

The Customer Relations reception operates Monday to Friday 8.15am – 5pm.

Part-time staff may be required to assist with extra hours during times of leave.

These positions have a salary range of salary range of $59,658 to $64,731 pro rata p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation.

Your skills:

  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to assist and resolve customer issues under pressure
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication
  • Performing tasks related to the role efficiently and prioritising workloads effectively
  • Obtaining relevant and useful customer and product information.
