Water Bottle Personalisation

As the reigning Ixom Australia’s Best Tasting Tap Water title holder Wannon Water is thrilled to be hosting the 2019 competition at Dunkeld. The Water Industry Operators Association of Australia conducts the competition, putting interstate rivalry to the ultimate test.

Throughout the year, water authorities participated in state heats where water samples were judged on qualities like colour, clarity, odour and mouthfeel during blind taste tests.

Do you know a top drop when you taste it? Come along to the Wannon Water stall at the festival to sample the best tap water from around the country and vote on your favourite. The winner will be decided by the public vote at the festival. See below the full list of the 2019 State Champions vying for the nationaltitle.

  • NSW Shoalhaven Water
  • Tasmania Mount Leslie WTP, Launceston – TasWater
  • South Australia Swan Reach WTP
  • Victoria – Barwon Water, Wurdee Boluc WTP
  • Queensland – Mackay Regional Council

While the competition itself is all in the spirit of good fun there is a meaningful undertone to it, recognising the hard work of those who ensure safe, clean drinking water is available to us, every day.
