Welcome to our updated Ripple Effect sponsorship program for 2021.

Applications for round one in our sponsorship merchandise program are now closed. The program will re-open with round two applications in September.

As part of our commitment to keep our community safe, we are unable to provide our event support sponsorship of portable water refill stations or dispensers at this time.

The detail

What dates are the two annual sponsorship cycles open for applications?

Round one:
Applications open - 10 March 2021
Applications close – 10 April 2021
The distribution of these will occur throughout April 2021 with collection from corporate offices.

Round two:
Application open - 1 September 2021
Applications close – 30 September 2021
The distribution of these would occur throughout October 2021 with collection from corporate offices.

Who can apply for merchandise?

Community groups from within our service region, including the following organisations, are welcome to apply for merchandise:

  • Not-for-profit organisations
  • Schools
  • Social enterprises.

What events/initiatives will we sponsor through provision of merchandise?

Wannon Water focuses support for initiatives and events that align with the four key themes in our Community Strategy - Partnering for Stronger Communities 2018-2023:

  • Regional prosperity
  • Education, training and volunteering
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Natural environment.

Application assessment

We believe it is important that the events and initiatives we support make a significant and positive change within our local community. All applications will be assessed in relation to the following criteria:

  • Does the event/activity align with our four key themes? (listed above)
  • Does the event/activity occur within the Wannon Water service region?
  • Does the organising body have the capacity to complete the event/activity?
  • How will the event/activity strengthen and/or support our local community?

What happens after you apply?

We will notify you via email of the outcome of your application and provide contact details to arrange collection where successful.

Equipment and merchandise for events will be available at your nearest Wannon Water office unless otherwise arranged.
