National Water Week poster 2026
To celebrate National Water Week 2026, our annual poster competition was back again with 334 entries from 12 schools!
This year’s theme was Water Heroes: Make Every Drop Count.
Children across our region, from early learning through primary school to Year 8 of secondary school, were invited to design, draw or paint a poster that reflects this theme.
The competition was hosted in partnership with Southern Rural Water and the Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered and all the parents, caregivers and teachers who helped facilitate their work!

Sustainability prize
All the schools and kindergartens who participated were also entered into a lucky dip draw to win $400 for a sustainability project of their choice.
