We’re tagging trade waste devices across our region from February to April. These tags will help us keep a closer eye on trade waste so we can make sure it’s managed safely and effectively.

What’s happening?

We’re always on the lookout to improve the way we deliver our services. That’s why we’re installing “Waste ID” tags on all trade waste devices across our region.

These tags will help us keep a closer eye on trade waste so we can make sure it’s managed safely and effectively. They’ll also make the notification process simpler and remove extra work for our customers.

How does it work?

We’ll be tagging trade waste devices from February to April.

Tagging is quick and will happen during business hours. If we need to step inside a business to tag a device, we’ll keep any disruption to a minimum.

What does it mean for you?

If you have a trade waste device, you won’t need to tell us when it’s cleaned out anymore.

The contractor cleaning out your device will scan the QR code on the ID tag to let us know — simple.
