Nicole Opie

Nicole has an extensive executive career spanning more than 25 years across the public and private sectors, with significant leadership experience in infrastructure, asset management, governance, commercial strategy, service delivery and organisational transformation.

Throughout her career, Nicole has led large and complex portfolios, delivered major infrastructure programs, strengthened organisational capability and built high-performing teams. Her experience includes executive leadership roles with Court Services Victoria, the Department of Health and Human Services and a range of advisory and governance appointments.

Nicole was attracted to Wannon Water’s strong community purpose and the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential services across our region. She leads our Water and Sewerage Services team, working closely with employees across the organisation to continue delivering safe, reliable and sustainable services for our customers and communities.
