Our vision is for a region where people can live well, communities are supported, and economies thrive — with water playing a vital role in everyday life.
From the South Australian border to the Otways. From the Grampians to the coast. We’re taking care of more than 30 communities, including residents, farmers, businesses and industries. Our role is to provide fresh drinking water from source to tap, and to manage sewage in a way that protects health and wellbeing.
Putting people first comes naturally to us. We’re here to help with service that’s more affordable, reliable and personalised. You’ll see us out in towns and on streets, maintaining and upgrading the water and sewerage pipes, pump stations and sewage treatment plants we all rely on.
We’re dedicated to improving life across South West Victoria. We work with our community, Traditional Owners and regional partners to enhance liveability, create opportunities and protect the environment we all depend on.
We’re proud to make this commitment to the region we call home, now and for the future.
We supply water services to nearly 45,000 customers and sewerage services to more than 38,000 customers. They include residential, commercial, industrial and rural customers.
The Water Act 1989 and by-laws set out our statutory functions, powers and duties. They include:
The Victorian Government has appointed a Board of nine Directors who provide governance and set our policy direction in consultation with the executive team.
