We’re celebrating World Water Day this year by opening our Camperdown Water Treatment Plant to the community.
Get a behind-the-scenes look at how water is treated, purified, and made safe for consumption. Our knowledgeable operators will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Family-friendly fun-filled sessions of learning and exploration. Gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of clean and sustainable water resources.

The Water Treatment Plant Open Day is located at 311 Camperdown-Cobden Road, VIC, 3260
Important information
Sessions will take place in 45-minute blocks for groups of up to 15 people. Minimum age 5 years. Non-slip, closed toe shoes are required. Cameras are allowed.
The event may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather. In this happens, we will email attendees to advise of the cancellation or you can keep an eye on our Facebook page.
Wannon Water may take photographs and videos of the event and may include your image, recordings of your voice and/or your name (collectively the materials). Wannon Water may wish to use and reproduce the Materials for the following purposes:
- The creation of promotional, advertising, educational or marketing material through various communication mediums such as, but not limited to, print materials, web, social media and television purposes; and
- Other reasonable purposes connected with Wannon Water’s business.
