About the event

Explore the wonderful world of tardigrades, otherwise known as Moss Piglets this school holidays.

Join us at the Warrnambool Library and learn more about these fascinating creatures. You’ll even have the chance to make your very own tardigrade!

Tardigrades, often nicknamed “moss piglets”, are one of the toughest animals on earth. They can last for decades without food or water, survive in space, and have existed on earth for more than half a billion years!

We love them because they also work around the clock to help break down all the wastewater from your kitchen, laundry, bathroom and toilet (that’s right – they even eat your poo!)

Perfect for ages 4 to 10 years.

When: Monday 13 April at 2:30-4:00pm and Tuesday 14 April at 10:30am-12pm

Where: Warrnambool Library

Getting there

Join us at the Warrnambool Library and Learning Centre on 8 Kepler St, Warrnambool VIC 3280
