Moss Piglet theatre show

Fri, 05 June 2026 | 06:30 PM - Fri, 24 April 2026 07:30 PM
Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool

About the event

In partnership with Windmill Production Company, we’re excited to present a show all about our favourite microscopic creatures!

Tardigrades… perhaps you’ve heard of them? Small but mighty, they have withstood multiple extinction periods, survived boiling temperatures and even the vacuum of space. With a surprising cult following, some people call them ‘Water Bears’, others call them ‘Moss Piglets’.

An explosive portrait of the world’s most resilient and curious critters, Moss Piglet takes audiences from jelly-filled petri dishes to the depths of a volcano to Arctic glaciers to the moon.

Featuring wicked puppetry, choreography, live video and green screen technology – it’s time to unveil the mysteries of the wildly weird tardigrade.

Windmill is supported by the Government of South Australia and the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its arts funding and advisory body.

Perfect for ages 5-10 years.
