Our annual Ripple Effect grants program supports organisations who are doing their bit for the community.

Community Partnerships & Engagement Advisor Naomi Turner said the program had funded more than 100 diverse projects over the past seven years.

“They include mentoring programs, the purchase of critical equipment, safety improvements for community groups, environmental projects, and installing water supplies in remote international villages,” Ms Turner said.

“The program is now open for applications. If you’re part of a local group – or know someone who is – and have a project you need help with, consider applying.”

The Ripple Effect grants are available in three streams:

• Community grants of up to $5,000 are available for projects being delivered in the Wannon Water service region.
• International aid grants of up to $4,000 are available for projects being delivered overseas.
• Local schools can also apply for up to $1,000 towards school-based projects.

Applications close on Friday May 3.
