Wannon Water is inviting customers from across the region to express their interest in joining a Community Panel that will help inform the organisation’s next price submission.
The panel will bring together up to 40 customers from different backgrounds, locations and life experiences to learn about the choices facing Wannon Water, consider different perspectives and provide recommendations that reflect community priorities.
Managing Director Steven Waterhouse said community input would play an important role in helping decide future services and investment decisions.
“The decisions we make today will help shape water and sewerage services across our region for years to come. That’s why it’s important that our customers have a genuine opportunity to be part of the conversation,” Mr Waterhouse said.
Panel members will take part in a guided process where they will receive information, ask questions, discuss options and work together to develop recommendations for the Wannon Water Board.
Participants will be paid for their time and contribution, with additional support available to help with practical needs such as transport, childcare and other access requirements.
Mr Waterhouse said the panel would help Wannon Water better understand what matters most to customers.
“This is an opportunity for customers to help determine how we balance service quality, affordability and long-term investment. The recommendations developed by the panel will provide important insights into what our communities value most.”
Expressions of interest are open to all Wannon Water customers. An independent engagement specialist will support participant selection and facilitate the panel process to help ensure it is fair, balanced and representative.
Expressions are open now and close on 14 November. Register via the link below or call us on 1300 926 666.
Customers not able to commit to the panel can still have their say by completing an online survey and go into the draw to win one of five $100 gift vouchers!
