Wannon Water is kicking off a community engagement program to hear what’s important to customers when it comes to their water and sewerage services.
Managing Director Steven Waterhouse invited customers to join in the conversation about helping find the right balance between price and service.
“Every five years we prepare a price submission to the Essential Services Commission, spelling out our commitment to our customers,” Mr Waterhouse said.
“By understanding local experiences and expectations we’ll be better able to deliver a plan that meets these needs when it comes to the supply of water and sewerage services and our contribution to the region.
“Climate change, growing customer expectations, new technology and economic pressures are all shaping the way we deliver services. We need to prepare for tomorrow while being fair to customers today,” Mr Waterhouse said.

Over the next six months there will be many ways that people can have their say with Wannon Water’s Engagement Team available at events and focus groups across the area.
The program kicked off at Hamilton’s Sheepvention this week and will continue with engagement activities across the region.
The team will also be holding targeted sessions with a range of community and business groups over the next few months in Casterton, Merino, Dartmoor, Mortlake, Derrinallum, Timboon and Peterborough. Registrations for these events open on the Engage and Explore page.
