We’ll be renewing three cooling towers at the Portland Water Treatment Plant starting in 2027.
Some minor works have been completed, but a complete renewal of the three towers will be conducted over the next four years. We’ll take a staggered approach to make sure we can continue to operate normally and ensure there aren’t any interruptions to the Portland water supply.
The towers are an integral part of the Portland treatment plant and these works will help ensure a reliable and safe water supply is available for year to come.
