David Harrington

David is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University. His career has spanned the accounting, corporate, and public sectors, with a strong focus on financial management, governance, and executive leadership.

His professional journey has taken him to London and back to regional Victoria, where he has held senior roles delivering strategic planning, financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. In August 2025, he was appointed General Manager People & Business Services at Wannon Water, where he leads key corporate functions with a focus on people, financial sustainability, and long-term organisational resilience.

He is a Board Member of the Terang Co-operative, supporting regional development and community enterprise. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, reflecting his commitment to high standards of governance and professional growth.

David brings a values-driven approach to leadership, with a passion for strengthening regional communities through sound financial and strategic decision-making.
