About the event

The Network of Wannon Water Women (NOW) committee and Women’s Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West invite you to our next Warrnambool Mentor March! Connect with other local women in a small group format for a walk and talk session.

When: Friday, 24 April 2026

Time: 5-6pm

Where: Meet at the Beach Kiosk on Pertobe Rd in Warrnambool at 5pm for a 5:15pm kick-off.

We’ve got a few conversation starters below to help people form groups around common interests, but who you walk with and what you end up discussing is entirely up to you.

Building confidence in the workplace

  • How to be heard when you’re an introvert ?
  • What kind of leadership would you like to see?
  • How do we show up for others?

Building up capacity for other women to thrive in our industry

  • What can we do to make our workplaces more attractive and supportive for young women entering the workforce?
  • Being a mentor
  • Finding a mentor

Knowing and celebrating your strengths

  • How do you know what your strengths are?
  • Finding roles that allow you to best utilise your strengths
  • How do you acknowledge and celebrate the strengths that you have to offer in a workplace?
  • Recognising the strengths in others

Creating professional networks

  • How have professional relationships been helpful to you in the workplace?
  • What has helped you build supportive professional networks?
  • Are you engaged in any networks/groups locally that you have found beneficial?
  • Are there any groups/platforms you’d like to see to support professional networking?
